Mouille concebeu as suas luzes angulares e semelhantes a insetos como "uma reação aos modelos italianos que começavam a invadir o mercado em 1950", que criticava por serem "demasiado complicados". A sua Luminária de Pé com Três Braços em larga escala (1952) possui uma estética cinética e escultórica que evoca um sentido de movimento no espaço. Todos os braços podem ser rodados em várias direções, permitindo iluminação ampla e bem direcionada para qualquer tarefa.
