Mouille ha progettato le sue lampade angolari e simili a insetti come "una reazione ai modelli italiani che stavano iniziando a invadere il mercato nel 1950", che criticava per essere "troppo complicati". La sua Three-Arm Floor Lamp (1952) in grande scala possiede un'estetica cinetica e scultorea che evoca un senso di movimento nello spazio. Tutti i bracci possono essere ruotati in varie direzioni, permettendo un'illuminazione generosa e ben orientata per qualsiasi esigenza.
