"A caldo" means the Murano glass is hot-worked by hand while molten, rather than cast in a mold. Because it's shaped by a master glassmaker, slight variations in the ribbons, tone, and chromatic hues are natural and expected — each chandelier is genuinely one of a kind.

What sizes are available, and how many bulbs does each take?

Three sizes: D 27.8 × H 24.4" with 19 lights, D 31.5 × H 24.4" with 23 lights, and D 39.4 × H 28.7" with 30 lights. Each uses G9 bulbs, 5W maximum each. Bulbs are not included.

Are bulbs included, and is it dimmable?

Bulbs are not included — the fixture takes G9 bulbs rated 5W maximum. It's dimmable when paired with compatible dimming bulbs and a suitable dimmer. We recommend a warm-white G9 LED to flatter the brass and azure glass.

Can the hanging height be adjusted?

Yes. The chandelier hangs from an 11.8" suspension rod; your electrician can adjust the drop at installation to suit your ceiling height. Over a dining table, hanging the base about 30–36" (75–90 cm) above the surface is a good starting point.

How should it be installed?

Given its size, number of arms, and the weight of solid brass and glass, it hardwires to a ceiling junction box and should be installed by a licensed electrician, with the box and any support rated for the fixture's weight. The included installation sheet details wiring, assembly, and mounting.

From furnace to ribbon, formed piece by piece

Every glass ribbon passes through four stages and many skilled hands.

Melting: blue molten glass gathered from the furnace

Melt & tint

Raw glass is melted in the furnace and tinted our signature lake blue—clear by day, warm and glowing once lit.

Rolling: a textured roller presses the diamond pattern

Roll & cut

Molten glass passes under a patterned roller that presses in the diamond texture, forming a flat sheet. Once cooled, it is cut into ribbon-width strips. At this stage the glass is still flat.

Kiln-form

Each flat strip is laid over a curved mold and reheated in the kiln. As it softens, it slumps into the mold—turning from a straight strip into a ribbon. No two curves are exactly alike.

Inspection: each fixture is powered on and tested in the factory

Light-up inspection

After assembly, every fixture is powered on in our factory to check each light source and confirm the glass glows evenly. Only then is it packed and shipped.

INSTALLATION

Installs in three steps

Arms come pre-wired and fit a standard junction box. All hardware and instructions are included. Installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.

Insert each arm into the canopy, feed the wires inside and tighten the retaining nut.

Wire & mount

With the power off at the breaker, connect the arm wires to the supply (live, neutral, ground) inside the canopy, tidy the wires and secure the canopy to the ceiling.

Fit the glass

Wearing gloves, line each ribbon up with the brass clip on its arm and press it firmly into place. Add bulbs and switch on.

Protects your hands from glass edges and keeps fingerprints off the glass and brass.

Glass goes on last

Fit the glass only after the body is mounted and wired, to avoid knocks.

Check before power-on

Make sure every ribbon is secure and no wire is exposed before restoring power.
