The Akari A Pendant Swag Light is handcrafted from Japanese washi paper and bamboo ribbing, stretched across sculptural wood forms. When the glue has set, the internal wood form is removed, leaving a resilient paper structure that can be neatly folded and shipped. Enjoy a unique, durable lighting solution.

I bought this for my apartment that had no overhead light in the bedroom and it worked perfectly by attaching to the ceiling with hooks and adding a smart lightbulb connected to my phone. Super useful and I highly recommend it.

Good value for the price

I rented a large condo with no over head lights. Its so stressful because I need lights fast, but cant afford the top of the line types right now. This is a perfect light fixture for my situation. I will probably buy more. Easy to install. It does not come with a bulb.

Great light that is cheap and it does exactly what I wanted it to do for the kitchen.

This was a perfect solution to the lighting issue I had. Easy simple and fast to install. I added my own hidden cable management thing to hide the cable but it is perfect!! Highly recommended for anyone who doesnt have electric in a closet but only an outlet.
