The Idea

The dome is built from two layers of acrylic: a clear outer shell and a quieter smoked inner one. Bonded together, they give light the depth and sheen of glass — yet stay lighter and far more shatter-resistant. The inner tint deepens toward the crown, exactly where the eye needs shielding from the bulb.

02 — The Stem

Metal stem, polished chrome mirror

A slender metal stem gives the lamp its poise — thin as a drawn line, yet rigid enough never to waver. Its surface is polished to a bright chrome mirror that catches the shifting light of the room, so the lamp reads like a quiet installation even by day.

Inside the Workshop

From two sheets of acrylic to a finished lamp.

Every Halo Dome passes through four stages and eight pairs of hands. The order matters — each step builds on the one before it.

Form

Clear and smoked acrylic are heat-formed into the outer and inner domes — matched in curve, seated without a gap.

Bond

The smoked inner shade nests into the clear outer shell; edges are trimmed and surfaces polished for that signature crown-to-rim fade.

III

Plate

The metal stem and base are degreased, chrome-plated bath by bath, then mirror-polished to a bright, lasting chrome.

Assemble

Shade, collar, stem, and base are joined and wired by hand, then lit-tested for three hours before it ships.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I bought 2 think Ill buy one more. I was nervous about spending so much on a floor lamp just to receive it it feel flimsy like those cheap ones weve all had but NO! These things are heavy sturdy which made me love them even more.If youre thinking about buying one or a couple need that final push to just go for it, GIRL DOOOO IT!!!
